I'm back from my third trip to the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in sunny (melty) Indio, California with 7 of the greatest people in the world! I could almost sum up everything in this first paragraph...Chinese National Cheerleaders, Scooterpalooza, Vicky's Taco, Dancing with Ellen And All I Got Was This Free Shirt, Pasta Ala' Robert Blake?, Sprinkles Cupcake Breakfast, Breast Pump Milk Dump, 1/5 of The Faint, HOT, Giant Hot Dog, Bee Swarm, Getting Lost, Thongs, Ron Jeremy, Bjork Happiness, Crazy Reactable Bjork Table Runes On The Big Screen, iLemur Fingering, Declaring our Independence, Don't Let Them Do That To You!, HOT AS HELL, Nip Slip Discovery, Sunflower Robots, Sno Cones, HOT Chip, Drag Queens, DJ Lady Miss Kier, LCD Soundsystem, Meeting Alexis Taylor, Cornelius Crazy Happy Joy Surprise, CRAZY HOT, Lollipop Letdown, Billy Brown Get-Down, Tracheotomy Big Frown, Dumpster Diving, Ethanol Corn Popping, Klaxons Rocking, Discovering Jose Gonzalez, Teddybears!, Teddybears!!, Teddybears!!!, Almighty Whitey Tighty Panty Party, A Lotta Horchata, Shaking Our Dates, One Less One Less...but then again, you'd probably have no clue how important all of those things are without being part of the amazing thing we call....

Coachella might be an amazing experience full of one-of-a-kind, better-not-miss-them musical acts for even the snobbiest music connoisseur or the snottiest nosed celeb watcher (hiya Paris!), but it's nothing without the endearing friendship and driving force behind why this journey to the hottest place on the face of the earth is bearable. It's an experience indescribable to anyone save for the people who shared the journey but for those who have, it's one that can be instantly and vividly relived by uttering even the simplest of words "Declare Independence!"
