aMUSEment Park

You may or may not know what a freak I am about the fanciful artwork of one-time Walt Disney Imagineer and illustrator Mary Blair. If you are in the "ummm, no I did'unh" school, then consider this your non-threatening smack on the ass. For those of you already clued into the awesomeness, you already know how influential her work is. Her work can be found everywhere from Golden Books to 1950's advertising to just about every great thing that was produced by the Walt Disney Company.
!
Anyway, I eat her work up like curry chocolate. It's Post Modern Skittles for the eyes...you know, taste the rainbow and kitsch.

Picture now my delight when Muse released a video to their song "Invincible" that imagines a Blair-esque attraction ala' "it's a small world" except with ravenous teddy bears and explosions. Ummm...please remain seated at all times Mr. Bellamy until the boat has come to a complete stop.
