BetaMike's Birthday
It was a fantastic birthday! Turning 35 goes down a lot easier when you have a nice glass of friendship to go along with it. My actual birthday is the 23rd (along with JBA) but today I was surprised by a visit from my friends Stephanie, Kelly and Josh at Gatorland. Later on, Christy, Devan and Kelly surprised me with a birthday cake and JBA surprised me with a new bike!
The onset of a few gray hairs over the past few months and the increasing amount of laugh lines in my face faded away when I realized that this was the first time since I was eight, that I actually had a birthday "party."
It was a good day. A good day indeed.
