Holy Smoke!

The white plume peeked out of the Papal chimney today and we have a new Pope. It's the German guy and not the African. As much as that would have been cool, I really didn't think the Church would be that progressive. Of course this just dates the continuity of my favorite guilty pleasure, The Golden Girls. Remember when Sophia stole the Pope's ring to make sure he would come by the hospital and bless her sick friend? Just priceless.
